No, I'm sorry. The principle still stands. Either I'm responsible for my tweets and they belong to me or I can say whatever I wish because they belong to Twitter to do as they please. In Web 2.0 land, making money out of advertisers seems fair game. I can choose to click or not.
But when my intellectual property becomes bundled up in monthly payment plans and forms part of an overarching game plan which involves making money directly out of my life and not - any more - out of my reasonably voluntary clicks, then something else quite different is happening.
This is getting yucky. No. For some subtle reason I can't begin to explain, I really don't like it at all. Maybe tomorrow I'll work it out.
Maybe tomorrow it'll all become clear.
